LDTP (Lower-Division Transfer Patterns) Search Module

The Lower-Division Transfer Pattern (LDTP) program provides students who begin their CSU degree program at a California Community College (CCC) with clear and efficient academic paths to the CSU bachelor's degree. LDTP presents a set of "road maps" for CCC students to follow that ensures appropriate academic preparation and decreases time to graduation from the CSU. The LDTP program is an additional option for CCC students preparing to earn the CSU bachelor's degree.

The LDTP for each discipline has a statewide as well as a campus-specific component:
  • The statewide component of the LDTP is appropriate for any CSU campus that offers the major and is comprised of general education coursework as well as some courses within the discipline.
  • The campus-specific component identifies discipline-related coursework relevant to the major at the specific CSU campus.
Together these components for an LDTP discipline will generally total 60 semester units, the number needed to transfer to CSU as an upper-division, baccalaureate-seeking student.

California Community College students should meet with their advisors to discuss academic plans as well as all options for preparing to study at the CSU. Information about majors and course articulation can be found online at www.ASSIST.org.
