Tuition Prepayment Plans
<<< TUITION SAVINGS PROGRAM
Tuition prepayment plans are state-run plans, created in the early 1990s, that allow parents (or others) to lock in tuition costs at today's level. You contribute to the plan with a lump sum or regular installments, and the state figures out how to invest the money so it will cover future tuition costs. The money can be generally used for both in-state public and in-state private schools. The state treasurer's office can tell you how to sign up.
